Less plastic, secure seal with tactile feedback, emphasis on re-use!
These are an improvement over the older bags, in several ways. The feel of the bumps to help assure the seal, is major. As we get older, it’s harder for arthritic hands to pinch bags to close the seal. If you don’t know how hard to pinch, you might overdo the strain on joints and fingers or leave the bag unsealed. These bumps are wonderful to let you know how you’re doing, and the single seal track makes it easier for the bags to be opened at lunchtime by little hands. Very thoughtful. And these have less plastic in them, plus a noticeable emphasis on re-use of bags–something I’ve always done, but have never seen mentioned on the boxes before. Huge props to Ziploc for that, even with a QR code with more information about the impact of food waste, their line of bags that can be put in the dishwasher, and some exciting things they’re working on, like compostable bags. They talk about recycling, re-use, and raising consciousness of waste and waste prevention. I don’t know if we can talk about makers of plastic bags being environmentalists, but this is as close as I’ve seen any of them come.

Large Pack of Grippable Zipper-Lock Plastic Bags
This “Mega Pack” is an extra-large box of sandwich bags that should last a while. It boasts “Grip ‘n Seal” Technology which means that the two sides of the opening are textured and have a tab to make gripping the sides easier when opening them, and there are little nubs along either side of the zipper which I suppose allow the user to hold the bag more securely when they are closing it, although I’m not sure I’ve ever had a problem with that.My husband routinely has trouble sealing zipper-lock bags of all types, so I asked him to seal some plastic-wrapped cheese in one. It appeared to be sealed well but I could press air out of it slowly, and I couldn’t seal it any better myself. These thin bags aren’t made for long-term storage, and it’s possible the cheese wrapper poked a small hole in the plastic, but I was a little disappointed by the results of that test. Nonetheless, these are fine for snacks, sandwiches, and other small items, and they are easy to grip.

These are great! So easy to open and close and well made – Ziploc has reduced some of the plastic, made them sturdier and easier to use. Its a huge box that will last a while so a good value. Great quality!
Ziploc has done it again! This huge box of sandwich bags meets the high standards of this brand. The bags are the perfect size for a sandwich. At first, I was surprised by how thin the bag felt. However, I should not have been worried. I put my hand inside the bag and pushed on the plastic and on the seams, and they would not budge. The sandwich bag is among the sturdiest on the market. The Ziploc is incredible. It is so easy to seal this bag! There is no fumbling and no thinking that I have sealed it when it’s not actually sealed. I love how big this box is. I go through a lot of sandwich bags as I save food throughout the week, and this means I will not have to buy sandwich bags for quite a while. Highly recommend!

Ziploc brand strikes again!
They work great like the Ziplocs I buy at the store. I was easily able to remove these and place them in my ziploc holder. I have had no issues with open the bags, closing the bags or having them actually maintain a good seal on my snacks and sandwiches.

Good quality
I usually use store brand options when it comes to sandwich bags, but I was happy to get these. They work well, and make a confident seal. The size isn’t quite as large as other sandwich bags I’ve used, and I’m not sure I’d pay extra for these, personally. No major complaints with the product quality, just the slight disappointment with the size/price.
