Mostly good, with a drawback or two…
This is mostly good:- I like the sensors that open the clamping arms of this charger. Raise the phone to the unit and the clamping arms open automatically and you can pop the phone onto it and have it locked in.* A quick tap on the release button and you’re good go.- The Fast Charge does work, but that will depend on what you plug it into. That’s true of any device, though, so that’s standard. I was unable to get Super Fast Charging, but that might be my equipment. The box included the cable but no plug, so you’re on your own for whatever speed you can get.- The socket to connect the unit to the mount is a standard size, so it should fit to a variety of mounts. If you have a mount already installed in your vehicle, as I do, this charging pad will probably click onto it. However, the included vent clip was decent enough, including the metal hook, so you can use that right out of the box.The drawbacks:- My S24 Ultra, and its UAG Monarch case, had trouble fitting onto the charger. I could get it to charge, but the clamping arms couldn’t close on it. My wife’s S24 Ultra, with a thinner case, fit just fine, as did my mom’s Note20 Ultra. So be aware of your phone and case.- I got the silver unit. As I was driving I had sunlight glint off the silver clamping arms a time or two. It was distracting. A minute or two with a black sharpie could probably solve the problem if you’re willing to do that. I will assume it won’t be a problem with the black or red unit.It’s a serviceable charger.I will update if there’s anything new to add later.

My large iPhone 15 Pro Max with Peak Design case fits
Even though my phone has magsafe, I looked for a car phone charger holder so my phone is held more securely than just relying on magnets. This one fits the bill. I wish I got the black one as the silver one doesn’t match my (most?) car’s interior.I have a large iPhone 15 Pro Max with a Peak Design case that is not very chucky. It fits very well with this charger holder. The auto open/close feature takes some getting used to because initially it may close on you just when you try to phone your phone onto it. Once you know how the sensor to is triggered, you will know how to do it.
