Product Description
Why do you need the Faraday Bag?
Modern keyless fobs carry identification chips that pick up radio signals sent out by their car. The vehicle recognizes the fob when it’s in range and unlocks the doors. Keyless ignition systems work in the same way – enabling cars to start when the key fob is detected in the cabin. Criminals can exploit this via a wireless relay attack. Using a radio frequency relay booster, it’s possible to pick up and then transmit a key fob signal to trick the car into thinking a fob is present. This enables entry and theft from the cabin or boot – and, in the case of keyless ignition systems, theft of the vehicle itself. Thanks to its 100% signal jamming capability, TICONN Faraday bag can completely isolate your fob to make such attacks impossible – giving you complete peace of mind as a protector against data loss.
Attention:
Please make sure your vehicle key fob is put in to inner layer since only the Inner layer blocks signals The size of these Faraday bags is only designed for car key fob, not suit for mobile phones. Please do not wash the Faraday bag; keep the interior dry, or it may lose signal-blocking function.
How does the TICONN Faraday bag work?
Our Faraday bags make your cars safe by stopping signals being sent or received by your key fob or any other device containing data. Remove your key from the Faraday bag and signal reception is restored immediately, enabling normal usage.
Two Pockets
One is RFID Blocking pocket and this is where you need to put your car key; the other one is normal card pocket which does not blocking any signal.

Customers say
Customers find the Faraday bag effective for preventing car theft and appreciate its build quality, with one noting it should last years. The functionality and size receive mixed feedback – while some say it works well and fits their key fob perfectly, others report it stops working after 8 months and is too big for their needs. Moreover, the signal blocking capability and key fob protection show mixed results, with some saying it completely blocks the fob signal while others report it doesn’t work at all. Additionally, customers disagree on whether the car unlocks properly when using the bag.

Good product, good price!
**Update**While I still like this product in theory, there is a big problem. With time, this product begins to fail. My pouch has no obvious damage to it, but the car door opens automatically when the fob is still in the protective metal area of the pouch. One time I even had it in my pocket within the pouch, and was able to start the car! Needless to say that was a little concerning and I thought maybe it was a fluke. But there are other members of the family that also have this pouch. Theirs also have failed with time. I still think it’s a good product but with a caveat. You will have to test it frequently. As an added safeguard, instead of hanging up our keys in the pouch, we put the keys in the pouch iand into a metal box. At least this way there is a certain degree of protection. I would say it’s a good product BUT it must tested frequently and be prepared to replace it. But definitely it does work for a while. At the moment, I’m not too worried about someone taking the car. The worry is that someone will try to steal the catalytic converter. That seems to be happening in our area at the moment.————————————————–Wow, I had no idea how easy it is for a tag team of thieves to steal a car! I saw a newscast that was reporting on “relay attacks” on vehicles. All you have to do is Google it. Apparently cars that have a start button instead of a key. The fobs constantly send a signal, or a ping in search of their matched vehicle. Auto thieves can scan the signal with their own electronic device, and just walk into your car and drive off. No key needed, just a digital signal!I ordered a pack of two Faraday pouches. The pouch works perfectly. I tested it to make sure that it worked. First, I walked up to the car. Normally the car will unlock if you are within a few feet of it. The car did not detect the fob while it was tucked away in the pouch. Next, I unlocked the car and sat in the driver’s seat. I placed the fob back into the pouch. I hit the on button to start the car. Again, the car could not detect the fob and wouldn’t start until I took it out of the pouch.I am very happy with the pouch. If you buy this product, please be aware that the pouch comes with two pockets. It is very important to note, you have to use the back pocket that is lined with a gold colored fabric. That fabric is what protects the signal from leaving the pouch. The first pocket is for small things like coins. It doesn’t block signals. Only the back pocket does. The only thing I could be concerned about with this product is that it closes with velcro. At some point the velcro will wear out from overuse. Maybe use a binder clip to keep it closed if that happens. For the life of me I still do not understand why automakers came up with this idea of a keyless ignition. I guess I’m old school. I prefer keys over fobs. I guess times change & this appears to be the latest fad. Until auto makers use some common sense to either go back to a real key, or include an on-off switch on the fobs, this is a great product that can help deter an expensive theft. I totally recommend it.

Function as required.
These pouches protect our keys just as advertised. I’m confident that our keys won’t be cloned now. They’re a little bulky but our key fobs are huge, so it’s understandable. I don’t know what the little slot is for, but make sure you’re using the big one for your keys.

One Bag Failed, But Replacement Already on the Way After Reaching Out to the Company.
I just realized that the bag I use for my car doesn’t work. I usually take my key out before I get to my car but the other day I forgot and left it in my pocket. My car unlocked as I approached and I was able to get in and drive to my house. When I got home my car locked as I left it in the garage. I got home emptied my pockets and realized I had my keys in the gold pouch of the Faraday Bag. I check both bags and one works great and the other did not at all. I contacted the company and they are sending a replacement. So Check your bag to make sure if they work, otherwise they work great.I had an issue with one of the Faraday Bag I use for my car keys. Normally, I take my keys out of the bag before getting to my car, but the other day, I forgot and left them in my pocket. As I approached my car, it unlocked automatically, and I was able to drive home without any problems. It wasn’t until I got home and emptied my pockets that I realized my keys had been in the gold pouch of the Faraday Bag the whole time. I tested both bags I own and found that while one works perfectly, the other didn’t block the signal at all. I reached out to the company, and they’re sending a replacement. Just a heads up—make sure to test your bag to ensure it’s working as expected. Other than this hiccup, I’ve found these bags to be really effective and a quick response from the company was outstanding. Can’t beat them for the price and good customer service.

They Work!
This little bag will actually block the car remote transmission, really! So if you park your car keys at or near your front door, you wouldn’t have to worry about someone copying your key fob signal to steal your ride! Great Product….

Love it but only worked for 3 to 6 months.
We first bought this item in October. We absolutely loved it. It worked perfectly for the key fob and for our house keys.In January, 3 months later when my husband said, it was no longer working because the car found the key fob when he had it inside the key fob blocker. I thought it was a fluke, mine was working . I surprised him with a new one a few weeks ago. Then mine stopped working. I paid more attention when I got out a replacement. They tell you to put the key fob in the gold colored section of the pouch, but when I checked that section there is no gold color. But for now, the new one is working. So, i’m either gonna accept the fact that every six months or so I’ll be buying new ones or find one that seems like it might keep working for more than a few months. Makes me sad because I really like the thing.

It blocks the Fob signal to keep car safe
Good product. It works. It won’t start my car while I’m sitting in it until I remove from the pouch. The key fob has to go in the top pouch. A coworker had her SUV stolen at work because she had her key fob in her purse on the desk. Her fob signal was copied.

Look good and work at blocking RFID signal on new 2019 Ford Focus. These are the new upgraded version of the key fobs that stop emitting the signal after a few minutes away from the car. I was still worried that the low life scum would eventually come up with a way of scanning them so opted for these. I have tested both after a few minutes when I thought the key had stopped sending signal and also less time when I thought they would still be active, work fine both times. The pouches look, nice material in a carbon fiber type weave. I say ok as they are a bit bulky, they have the main keyfob pouch lined with special RFID blocking material. They also have a second non lined pouch and I will use it to double up as a wallet to carry a bit of cash and a couple of cards, just to cut down on all the clutter that I now seem to when leaving the house. Stitching looks good, The key chain hook is a bit cheap and the springs are not great hence the 4 stars.Having tried a more expensive one prior to this that didn’t work st all, I was sceptical and ready to send straight back, but they work and with two for the price , I think they’re a bargain.Durability remains to be seen.

Honest review: I am totally impressed that in this price range we get 2 Faraday bags and it really works. At first I did not believe the reviews. But believe me it really works. One thing we have to put the key or Card at the back pocket for it to mask the RFID. Planning of our hasing few more.

Great idea to protect your car, only problem is that it stopped working after like a year. Doesn’t worth it
