Customers say
Customers find the microscope lens adapter works well and is worth the price. The image quality receives positive feedback, with one customer mentioning taking cool photos of river bugs and fungi. However, the adapter has fit issues, with multiple customers reporting it doesn’t work with their microscopes or telescopes. Additionally, customers find it difficult to adjust.

Works great on my home lab microscope.
This holds my Samsung Galaxy with it’s case still on pretty snug.I’ve been able to use this to get since cool photos of river bugs and fungi.

Worked great for me! Highly recommend.
I was a little skeptical when I ordered this, but after using it I was impressed. It’s not as good as a microscope camera, but for the cost it is well worth it. The all metal construction is great and of good quality. When using this tool I recommend using the “magnifying glass” app of your iPhone and not the “camera” app of your phone. With the magnifying glass app you can adjust the brightness, contrast, and zoom feature, which is better than the camera app on the iPhone. The downside of the magnifying glass app is that it doesn’t take video, only pictures. But for viewing it is great. Also, my microscope tube was smaller than 26mm, so I put some thin cardboard in the tube to make the attachment more snug. In the end this addition really is a big improvement of my experience of my microscope.

Didn’t work at all for microscope
Was very excited to use but when “installed” on the microscope, I could only see a pinpoint of light. It doesn’t have any magnifying lense of its own, so when you remove the eyepiece to mount (which has a small magnification lense of its own) you can’t anything. The mount also didn’t want to hold onto the phone and it almost fell off several times. Wasted my money here and super disappointed.

Didn’t fit my microscope or telescope.
I purchased this to use with a microscope to take photos of slides and make it easier for students to view. The eye piece did not fit my microscope or telescope well enough to make it useful.

Great, if you have the right diameter eyepiece.
If you don’t have the right eyepiece it may be worth it to get one. I was lucky in that I had two from an old Swift scope that had an accident, but the eyepieces were not damaged. This is actually the first microscope phone holder that really worked, and I’ve tried several.

Small viewing angle, had to zoom in on my phone
It does work, but the image is only an inch and a half in diameter, so I have to zoom in on my phone, which loses resolution. But I suspect it would work if I had a lense with a different eye relief. I am not sure if I can get new lenses for my microscope as I’m new to microscopy. But im going to try a lense with a different eye relief when I have $ again to see if that helps. It is usable as is, though. I will try to remember to update if a different lense works better. I saw some other reviews with the same issue, so maybe it can help someone. As for quality, high quality. It has metal and plastic parts, but does not seem cheaply made or like it will break easily.Despite the smaller viewing angle, I still recommend you try it, just keep in mind, depending on your lense, you might get a pinhole. At least, I think it is because of the lense. The images are after I zoomed in on my phone. They are not the same resolution as the could be because I had to zoom in so much.

So easy to use
So easy to pop my phone in, the eye piece fit right over the lens without any change to how I had it set up.No set up, no hassle and no strain on my eyes trying to see! Just used the knob to fit my phone that was all.I use my scope to check my dogs when breeding and this helped so much
Kayp91 –
Don’t waste your money. Better just holding phone yourself. Cuts half the screen off straight away as soon as phones attached to it… And it doesn’t fit my eye pieces anyway… even though measurements say it should. Ridiculous.
