Great looking figure, disappointing accessory.
First of all, I love how this guy looks. A lot of care went into the paint and look of this ancillary character. The color scheme is excellent with the blue complementing the rest of the figure perfectly. The one glaring problem with how he looks is that the hinges are blue, which looks very odd when he bends his knee, and when you put his arms to his side you can see them on his shoulder. Time and time again they do this, perhaps they spent their paint budget on the layers of color on his body? I wonder about the articulation in these newer star wars figures though, as most of them have lost the ability to simply sit down in a normal way and I’m not sure what poses they are optimizing them for. Hasbro seems to give with one hand and take with the other. The removable hat is pretty unnecessary, I don’t know why you would want to remove it and it seems to pop off rather easily. The small gun fits in his holster really well, but the large gun he comes with is ill conceived, the rubbery plastic ball joint is difficult to put in it’s socket and difficult to move once in. This large gun that was his claim to fame in the movie is a mushy mess that is destined for the back of your drawer somewhere, unless you have the sail barge I guess. They could have included a ledge for you to clip it onto at least.

Awesome figure!
Quality is just as good as figures from The Vintage Collection – great sculpt, articulation and paint job. Jabba’s henchmen have always been one of the coolest parts of collecting Star Wars figures and this guy is one of my favorites, so I was really excited when they announced they were updating him. He turned out great and looks perfect on the skiff with the gun clamped to the railing!TVC brought Star Wars figures up to the highest level of quality in the history of the line. The Black Series has been having some trouble matching that quality so far, but I think Vizam is one figure that lives up to the standards that have been set. He DOES have the mismatched colors in his joint pins. That’s a huge bummer, but the rest of him is so good I can overlook that detail.

Need I say more? Well, I shall, since I’m held to a review word minimum. This is one of the most detailed and well produced figure to come out of the Black Series 3.75″ line, in my opinion. He was seen as the gunner on Jabba’s Sail Barge in Return Of The Jedi. Great for dioramas, or just to display on it’s own.

A great nikto gunner
I collect Return of the Jedi figures, so Vizam is a good addition to my collection.This figure is from The Black Series; Vizam as seen in the film Return of the Jedi. The helmet is removable and The face and body are very detailed, similar in some measure to the Nikto Skiff Guard in the Vintage Collection. In all the, the clothes are well sculpted, including a belt with a holster for the blaster pistol and a removable helmet. And this figure comes with a blaster cannon.This figure has:- a ball-jointed head- ball-hinged shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles, and- swivel wrists, waist and hips.Overall, this figure offers great likeness and good posability.

Bought this cool nikto fellow a while ago in anticipation of my imminent Khetanna barge arrival. And I was very pleased also with the price that has remained reasonable. Not only was this one of the obscure vintage figures that I struggled to get hold of in my youth, it’s also one of Jabba’s henchmen.This Black Series sculpt is very well done, as you would expect. The figure has a lot of articulation and comes in a pleasant colour scheme that fits well with the dusty Tatooine planes. Vizam has 3 accessories; a blaster that can be stored in his hip holster, a removable hat and .. a mountable gun that fits the railings of both the awesome skiff and.. miraculously on my seriously awesome Khetanna barge!!!.Vizam is very much enjoying life on the Khetanna. Occasionally he takes the wheel, has audiences with Jabba, baths the dual suns of Tatooine on the comfortable Khethanna sun deck and can order drinks when the bar tender R2 unit does its rounds. His favourite pastime however is shooting womb rats or bantha’s with his mounted gun. Vizam is very much looking forward to the upcoming execution of a few rebel officials…I’m extremely partial to everything that has to do with the galaxy’s most notorious crime lord, but it’s simply a great figure that gave me much pleasure to add to my modest decade-spanning collection.What more can I ask for? Of course; a scale-sized sarlac pit! Come on Hasbro! – I’m ready to dig a hole in my garden that can hold it
