Rugged, easy to assemble and adjustable.
I own several of these. They make my shop better by utilizing my limited space. They are very rugged and can hold a LOT of weight. Make sure that both bolts are in contact with the rails on each end, especially with heavy objects. The casters are heavy-duty. It’s worth the purchase.

Heavy duty and very easy to use
I don’t often leave product reviews, but this is so good that I wanted to leave one so others wouldn’t hesitate to buy it. I bought this to put a 675 pound Delta table saw on. I also bought the extension so the entire saw would be supported. Other than one minor hiccup on the first try that was my fault (see TIP below), this thing is fantastic. The table saw is extremely stable and very easy to push. While you can still tell that you’re moving a heavy saw, there is no strain involved. This saw belonged to my father at one time and he was amazed at how easy it is to move the saw around.I could not be any happier with this purchase. I had thought about building something but nothing that I built would have been as stable and easy to use, and would have cost me a lot more in time and money.TIPS: If you are moving this over uneven concrete, you will want to screw the adjustable feet all the way up before moving it as they can rub the ground. When I get it to where I want it, I screw them down until they’re touching the concrete and then push the locking mechanism to raise it. It won’t go anywhere after that.

Model D4666 is an excellent and well made mobile base.
The Shop Fox D4666 is a great mobile base for heavier machines. I would down rate any base so that it carries no more than 70% of its rated capacity, they will all perform much better with less load. The foot petals are metal and much better than the units sold that have plastic levers. I don’t think you will find a better base for the price.I also purchased a D2260A for a smaller machine, it’s a good choice as well but has no foot levers, the assembly is also more complicated relative to the wheels than it needs to be. I would give this model four stars since you need to hand crank each lever to raise it off the floor. While I’m doing this brief review I will also mention I have a 52″ Sawstop ICS table saw with the router insert to the right. I purchased the Sawstop mobile base for that and would not recommend any other base, it’s the only base that is both effortless and will lift the heavy cast Iron in line router at the same time. Expensive but worth it.

Sturdy and Well Made
This mobile base is better than the others I’ve bought in the past. The frame is much stronger, easier to construct, and easier to move around compared to my others. The other mobile bases I’ve bought work well enough for the tools I need to move, but I wanted something sturdier to move my bandsaw, and this mobile base is perfect for it. The design to have the feet lock and unlock is better than having to lock and unlock casters when the weight of the machine is as heavy as my bandsaw (300lbs). If I have smaller machines, I’d probably buy something else because they are cheaper, but if I ever have a heavy machine greater than 200lbs I’m buying this again.

Suuuuuuper heavy duty.
Super heavy duty. This steel, string casters, less wear on the casters themselves because the feet are the parts moving, not the casters. All in all a good buy. Have it under my Craftsman Professional cabinet saw and it moves very easy, but is solidly locked in when the locking feet are down.

Nice
I bought this for a jet 20″ helical head planar and a jet 8″ jointer. I haven’t put it under the Jointer yet but it works great for the Planar.

Keeps everything plumb, level and square
Rigid frame keeps the cabinet, plumb, level and square.I built a flip top cabinet for my DeWalt DW735 planer and Powermatic mortiser. Total weight is 200+ pounds. The Shop Fox Mobile Base keeps the cabinet plumb, level and square even though my shop floor is anything but flat and level. The mobile base keeps the infeed/outfeed tables aligned with the cabinet. The locking feet keep the cabinet steady whether you are planing stock or mortising. The cabinet base adjusts to fit the cabinet. I have a constrained shop and need to minimize footprint. This mobile base does that. Two fixed wheels mean you have to swing the cabinet back and forth to get it to and from storage to work lane. The wheels do a great of making it easy to maneuver. Everything feels solid when manuevering.I highly recommend this mobile base.

Excellent design and quality built
I have pu many pieces of heavy shop equipment on casters in the past. I recently purchased a large 18 inch bandsaw. According to the manual it weighs 425 pounds. This shopfox mobile base was a good price and claims 1200 pound capacity. I am so impressed. It’s very heavy duty allowing this top heavy machine to glide around the shop. Best of all, it includes instructions to build the base under the machine without having to turn the equipment on end or to wrestle with sliding a huge tool onto a base. Brilliant. Best of any I have tried. I can now roll the bandsaw near to the lathe when preparing turning blanks.

Easy to adjust and assemble, rock solid and rolls easily. Looks like the wheels will last and can easily handle the rated load.

J’ai embarqué un outil pesant plus de 500lbs et le support se comporte très bien sans la moindre trace de surpoids. L’objet est déplacé sans effort et est très facile à déplacer.
