Must have for resin artists! Works awesome!!!
I love this gun! I use it for resin art, and it is amazing!!! The attachments are perfect, especially that smaller reducer, as it makes it perfect for making those ocean waves in the resin! I also love that you can adjust the temperature! Great value for a great price! If this one ever dies, I will buy again! (though I have had for several years and it is still going strong!) I recommend it to other resin artist!

Does What It Says It Will Do
I ordered this heat gun because of my hobby: I make wine and have found that using my wife’s hair dryer to shrink-wrap the decorative wrapping on the top of the bottles after I bottle the wine, was just too slow.This particular gun really fits my bill. The heat is pretty much instantaneous. I particularly like the rheostat control on the back, which easily dials up heat intensity from almost nothing to very very hot. And I mean hot! Many of the other guns I looked at had definite settings (low-medium-high, that type of thing) but I found the control on this one to be much more precise. Also the cord is long enough so that you have a large range with the gun without having to unplug it and then plug it in again: some lower-priced electrical appliances have VERY short cords.My only concern is that the attachments that come with it slide on and remain there via friction, instead of snapping or screwing on. I had no problem with that but I suppose it is possible, during use, that the pressed-on nozzle could drop off if it wasn’t pressed on firmly to begin with. The nozzle gets very hot: if a person isn’t aware of that, he or she could grab the nozzle to slide it back on and get burned thereby. The slide-on nozzle is not a deal-breaker by any means (probably more a reflection of the cost of the unit, which seems very low compared to what it will do) but it is something to be aware of.Also, when done, be sure to put the gun on a heat-safe surface to cool it off. It would have been nice if the gun came with a stand for that purpose, but again, probably a price compromise.Bottom line: Very good product so far. If it lasts for a couple of years, considering the low price I paid, I’d upgrade that to great. But that is yet to be seen.
