Surprisingly well made and cushiony
This “Saker Garden Kneeler and Seat Foldable Gardening Stool with Extendable Legs & Thickened Pad, Tool/Storage Bag, Heavy Duty 500lbs Support for Elderly, Gardening, Outdoor Use” garden kneeler really surprised me. Not only was it mostly together when it arrived, it went together fairly easily; however, I did need a mallet to attach the handles, (mallet not included) but I did already have my own mallet, and the assembly was pretty much straight forward. The cushion for the seat was wrapped in it’s own plastic, and it did not smell, which is wonderful! The cushion attached so easily with the built in velcro straps. While the cushion attachment is nicely and surprisingly comfortable, it’s attached to a high density green foam that is part of the kneeler, and is much kinder to the knees than having to kneel on the ground when weeding plants. So on the top side is the tan- like colored cushion, which is handy to sit on when pruning taller plants. Then I just flip it up-side- down and can use the green foam pad for my knees when needing to weed the carrots and other garden goodies. The little ones and I got into folding and unfolding this, that I almost completely forgot about the extendable leg stabilizers, which once I remembered them, were very easy to extend and retract and the seat did feel even more stable after extending them. I’m super happy with this extra. When not using this, it folds fairly easily, and I can keep it out of the way. This cleans up really well, and feels sturdy when sitting on it, or using the kneeler part.I can see this would be a great stool for the little ones as well, because it’s a perfect height for them, and they thought it was a cool chair for them, to start with. I might have to get another one, because I’m pretty sure it’s going to spend most of it’s time in the play area. And because of the extendable leg stabilizers, I know the little ones won’t just tip this over easily either. The only problem I had was with the included gloves, which smelled like rubber, and looked worn out already. Since I have medical issues with rubber, I had to throw the gloves out.Other than the gloves, I’m very happy I ordered this, and my family is very impressed with it also.

Quality full featured seat/kneeler
The Saker Garden Kneeler and Seat is similar to a less featured model I’ve been using for almost five years. Both have a similar design, but this Saker product has some significant differences. The seat is almost four inches deeper with thicker padding and more comfortable for extended use. The increased dimension results in greater stability. It is easily foldable for storage, but I tend to keep it ready for use in the garage/workshop when working on a car project for example. The dual-use design is very helpful. After inverting for kneeling in the garden, rising from a kneeled position can be correctly (ergonomically) accomplished using the side grips. As a result, stress and injury to lower joints can be prevented. The extendable supports increase stability, especially if the ground has any slope. The construction of the Saker Garden Kneeler is top notch. There is virtually no assembly required and its durability should provide years of good use.

Handy seat
Easy to put together. It’s heavier than I expected but a good seat for pulling weeds. Nice pockets to keep your tools handy. Folds up for easy storage.

Durable, great fit and finish, sturdy garden seat/kneeler that folds up too.
Great garden seat, super sturdy, folds, easy to move around. So many good points. There’s a dense mat on each side of the seat – like a bit of yoga mat or something similar. Textured. It comes with an additional seat cushion that has fabric on one side and non slip type stuff on the other. Velcro straps. Not sure I’ll use it much if I’m moving around a lot. But I can see using it if sitting or kneeling a bunch for a long time. The product is metal and plastic – fairly hefty, but easy enough to carry around either folded or open. The sections that touch the ground are textured/molded for additional stability. There is an over-the-handle sort of bag, which I can see would be useful if you’re carrying a bunch of seed packets around. The tool bag is lightweight, not sure if I’ll find that super useful or not. I DO like that there are elastic retaining straps to hold tools or longer items in place. Otherwise, things would likely fall out of the small/short tool bag pockets. The tool bag is not a trug – but good for small, lighter weight items like seed packets, bulbs, ties and scissors, zip ties. The gloves have digging tips on the right hand, none on left hand in my set. Works for me. The best thing about this is the seat itself – heavy duty, solid, not tippy with the outriggers. I really really like it.

Makes weeding more comfortable
This is just what I needed. Spring has finally sprung and my gardens seriously need tending. So when this was delivered I immediately used it. It’s very easy to put together. The support legs are folded up and just pull out and snap into place. They can then be folded back for easy storage. The handles at the top are separate pieces that just fit into openings on either end. They are a tight fit, so I needed my full weight on them to fully seat them. The cushion is a separate piece that can be placed on one side of the board for sitting and the other side for kneeling. Really comfortable. And there’s even a bag that fits over one end to hold your tools. It’s light weight so it was easy to move around. I was able to weed comfortably for almost an hour. And when in the kneeling position, the bars help you to easily get to your feet. The best part are the little extras. They included a tool bag with handles, and two pairs of gloves. One of the pair has something I’ve never seen before…these plastic tips with curved edges to help you dig! Seriously nice piece set of equipment for the gardener.
