My 6 hens absolutely love this scratch. It is not full of corn like other scratch mixes. This mix is perfectly balanced. They love every piece of it. I’ve ordered this 15 times now and it always looks good and fresh…no bugs or mold or smell. I like the size of the bag and that its a zip closure. Scratch is equivalent to candy for chickens but this is healthy candy for them.

Helps for laying eggs!
A few days after this food my chickens started laying eggs again! The quality must be high and this food helps maintain health in chickens. My girls run toward this food so the taste must be good (I thought about trying it myself but I didn’t want to steal from my ladies!) I do wish it was a little less pricey, but isn’t bad for needed a last minute bag of food and can’t get to the store.

I feed my silkie chickens this scratch and they love it. It usually comes before the delivery date but this time something happened with the carrier. So they gave me a refund and said I could keep it if it ever does show up! Now that’s a fantastic store!!
