Lasted Long Enough
Easy to install, easy to manipulate, decent manufacturing, and worked great for me. With the articulation, you can adjust to your dash height and line of sight. Big enough to hold my giant phone. After a couple years, the bolt that keeps the phone upright would get loose occasionally (every few months,) but it was a simple matter of tightening it again. After 4 years of service it wasn’t the adhesive that gave, but the suction cup, which had degraded after so many Pennsylvania summers. Well worth the price I paid. The mounting pad and adhesive was actually a bit of a pain to remove but I did get it off with a little work. They tell you not to mount on leather but I don’t have much of a choice there, and I don’t care much about the cheap leather of my 10 year old car. You might be able to buy a replacement suction cup but I just bought the newer model (which seems to be similar in quality.)

Great product!!
I rarely write reviews but this product is sooo good! I mounted it on the windshield. The locking mechanisms work extremely well- I was able to effectively tighten all locks to hold it in whatever position I wanted. The suction has held the holder and my iphone 14. I had to reposition the holder and the suction was very tight when I repositioned the holder. I love the 1 handed placement and removal mechanism.

Very helpful for roadtrips.
I love this thing. I used to just hold my phone in my lap or try to balance it in the cup holder but it makes it extremely difficult and dangerous trying to navigate maps and directions. Having this, I’m able to keep my phone secured in the windshield where I don’t have to completely take my eyes off the road to take a glance at where to go next. The suction cup works amazing on both glass and plastic/wood surfaces. It just has to be flat to create that suction. The mount is adjustable for larger or thinner phone sizes. You can also adjust the hight and angle of your phone in the base. It doesn’t feel cheap but actually pretty durable. It has never detached or came loose. Even on mountain dirt roads where I’m bouncing in potholes, my phone stayed secured.

Good, but…
The holder seems to work fine, and easily accommodates my Pixel 9Pro. The part that fit into the CD slot (yes, my car is that old) was very curved, I assume to make it fit more securely. I had to flatten it by hand to get it to fit into the slot. The “push-to-secure” function that holds the phone works well. I dinged it 1/2 star because in my bouncy car on my crappy roads, it vibrates enough to be annoying. OK for basic navigation but if you need to read a street name or such it can be difficult. I dinged a second 1/2 start because Amazon sent one with a big sticker on the box thanking me for saving landfill space by buying an “Amazon refurbished product”, even though the listing did not mention that it was refurbished (nor does the “Buy It Again). I’m actually really pissed about it, and may return it to Amazon for that reason.

Totally worth the investment
Bought the first gen of this back in 2019. It fell off maybe one time, but otherwise performed flawlessly in the 6 years I had it. The tab on the left that held the phone in broke as I snapped the phone in place. I think the repetition of how fast the tabs snap on the phone weakened the tab over time. Still 5 stars though. 20 dollars for 6 years of use, I’ll make that investment any day.

Won’t stick in hot weather!
This item, while initially perfect, slipped off my dashboard within 2 months of installation. It was a sunny day – cool outside but hot inside my car. There was no way it would stick back on. I bought it on January 1st but didn’t install it until mid January. The final return date was February 2nd, which was no good to me as the product was still working at that point. First warm day inside the car and that was the end of it. If you live anywhere the internal temperature in your car can get hot, this isn’t the phone holder for you. So disappointed as it was perfect for my needs.

Great for the price!
Great product for my ’21 Kia Soul! I’ve found that the best place for it, is in the middle of the dashboard under the rearview mirror. However, make sure to test it out in your car before peeling off the adhesive. Easy to put together, thank you to others who posted video, and it holds my Samsung Galaxy S+ really well! Very happy with my purchase so far 👍🏻

Fan depuis longtemps du simple support de smartphone qui se fixe sur la grille d’aération j’ai du malheureusement trouver une autre solution lorsque j’ai acheté mon iPhone XS: il tient toujours mais à cause du poids de l’appareil la grille d’aération bouge lors de tournants appuyés… ce qui devient vite agaçant sur une route de montagne… Donc après une recherche sur le net ce système-ci me convenait le mieux: fixation dans le slot CD de mon autoradio où de toute façon je n’ai plus inséré de CD depuis des années (vive les clés USB ;))Première réflexion en déballant le produit: “heu mais c’est un minuscule embout en plastique qui doit tenir tout le bazar, ça tiendra jamais ce truc!”. En plus il s’agit d’un système pivotant qui, d’expérience ont une fâcheuse tendance à lâcher lors des forts tournants ou sur route dégradée. Je l’ai essayé quand même et je suis étonné: solide comme un roc, mon iPhone XS ne bouge pas d’un poil (sauf une légère vibration sur route très dégradée, ce qui est assez normal).Le seul bémol que je peux lui trouver c’est qu’une fois le smartphone en place cela cache un peu l’affichage de l’autoradio mais bon si on est pas du genre à changer de poste toutes les 5 minutes cela ne pose pas vraiment de problème.

スマホを置く部分の作りはしっかりしていて使い始めてから今のところスマホが落ちたことは有りません。排出口に取り付ける部品はガタガタしていて上手く取り付けられず両面テープの物に関しては商品紹介用画像の通り「高さ」が無い為上手い事斜めになっている平面がダッシュボードに無い場合、使えません。車種に大分作用されると思います。私の場合は前から使っていたホルダー用の土台アーム部品と本品スマホホールド部品を組みあわせて使っており、問題なく使えています。スマホホールド部分は★５でエアコン排出口部品&両面テープ部品は★１でした。
