My chickens love these mealworms. I have been ordering them for over a year and have a subscription where I don’t have to do anything but pay for them because they come on a schedule that I determine and can change at any time, as well as getting a small discount for the subscription. They are packaged adequately. I would recommend not using anything sharp in opening the package as you may cut into the plastic bag they ship in. They are dry and whole with very little breakage of the worms. The mealworms are brown in color and of a uniform size. Since my chickens are in a coop yard, these mealworms supplement their protein needs as there are not enough bugs and worms in the yard. I suppose they must taste good as they are very eager to get their mealworms every day. They seem to be reasonably priced for the 10 lb. bag.

Best Chicken Meal Worms!
Love this stuff and so do my chickens! Bought this to add to their diet during the winter to add some more protein. As soon as they hear the bag rustle they are out waiting for this stuff! you can grab them right out of the bag to give to them they are dried really nice and not wet at all or slimy if you touch them with bare hands. I am so glad I found a good product in which the meal worms are fed a good diet so that I know my chickens are getting good nutrients and not anything harmful or loaded with fillers or chemical additives – this stuff is awesome!
