It’s new and it works like a dream with a GoPro
I had been using other Fence mount for my GoPro outside the fence to record the game. This works really well and very fast to set up. The spring and quick tighten on the clip is way better than other that you have to wind on. The magic arm allows for a range of positions as there ae different fences in different sizes holes and different quality . This so far fits them all and I can maneuver to get the GoPro into the right spot.

There is a good reason this has a 30 day warranty…
I bought this item used it 3 times and the 4th time while i was attaching it to the fence it fell apart in my hands. The portion that attached the camera mount to the fence clip just broke off from the bracket. I wasn’t event applying any pressure to that portion. Normally when I buy things from Amazon they are good quality. Not this one, its very poor quality. I don’t recommend it. If it were possible I would give this 0 stars.

Works great for GoPro and backup battery
Need to attach your GoPro and a Battery Backup to a chainlink fence? Then this is the perfect kit!Won’t lie… it took some practice and some trial and error to get it so it locks in place once hung. There are multiple ways to tighten things down and have the camera hung just right… but after some practice, it became second nature.It securely holds the GoPro in place as well as grips tightly to a backup battery.Doesn’t do well (not that I would expect it to with the weight of everything, phone, battery back up and this mounting kit) when connected to a net type backstop.

Good design, mediocre execution
The mechanism that clamps the fence is really not strong enough. The unit slides around even when the clamp is tightened down hard.I have a similar product from another brand that locks down and there’s no movement at all.

Not a good product
If you purchase this you will VERY quickly discover it is not the product you hoped for. First, the clamp for the chain link fence does not provide enough support for the assembly with a cell phone…much less a cell phone and something else. It will slip on the chain link fence because it will not clamp very tight. This limits the amount of configurations you can put it in greatly. It will also slip on its own…much less when a foul ball goes off the fence (never mind hitting near it). Second, it will not mount flush against the fence. It is basically impossible to get a shot free of the chain link fence because you ate set up about 1 inch away from the fence. Trust me on this, get the ugly style mounts with 4 attachment points to the fence. They are cheaper and work better. You’ll thank me later.

Use this all summer for over 50 games. It has been hit directly or off the back stop, many of times. Never had my device fall. Would recommend. Still in perfect working and planning to use next year too.

Mount offers easy adjustment options. Using on small spaced chain link fencing, I could fine tune it to capture a good shot. I did find that the attachment to the small link fence is at the end/beginning of the adjustment, where I find it’s not gripping tightly. Loose. Secondly on that the tightener doesn’t seem to lock tight anymore and feels like it loses grip. I use two small bungee cords to help secure it and the phone better as I use it for baseball on the backstop. Price point and quality match well. Not a bad little unit.
