Planned on using the wire for a small boat project, wire seamed a bit cheap for the task, you can see through the jacket similar to the old school monster cable for amplifiers from pep boys. It would probably be fine for many projects but I’m not sure how it would hold up after a few years of being beaten up and a small boat. I returned it
